摘要:

This paper investigates optimization problem of the cutting parameters in high-speed milling on NAK80 mold steel. An experiment based on the technology of Taguchi is performed. The objective is to establish a correlation among spindle speed, feed per tooth and depth of cut to the three directions of cutting force in the milling process. In this study, the optimum cutting parameters are obtained by the grey relational analysis. Moreover, the principal component analysis is applied to evaluate the weights so that their relative significance can be described properly and objectively. The results of experiments show that grey relational analysis coupled with principal component analysis can effectively acquire the optimal combination of cutting parameters and the proposed approach can be a useful tool to reduce the cutting force.

Application of grey-taguchi method for optimization of dry sliding wear properties of aluminum MMCs

Through a pin-on-disc type wear setup, the dry sliding wear behavior of SiC-reinforced aluminum composites produced using the molten metal mixing method was investigated in this paper. Dry sliding wear tests were carried on SiC-reinforced metal matrix composites (MMCs) and its matrix alloy sliding against a steel counter face. Different contact stresses, reinforcement percentages, sliding distances, and sliding velocities were selected as the control variables, and the responses were selected as the wear volume loss (WVL) and coefficient of friction (COF) to evaluate the dry sliding performance. An L25 orthogonal array was employed for the experimental design. Initially, the optimization of the dry sliding performance of the SiC-reinforced MMCs was performed using grey relational analysis (GRA). Based on the GRA, the optimum level parameters for overall grey relational grade in terms of WVL and COF were identified. Analysis of variance was performed to determine the effect of individual factors on the overall grey relational grade. The results indicated that the sliding velocity was the most effective factor among the control parameters on dry sliding wear, followed by the reinforcement percentage, sliding distance, and contact stress. Finally, the wear surface morphology and wear mechanism of the composites were investigated through scanning electron microscopy.

Analysis of synergy degree and its influencing factors in hydropower EPC project management

摘要: The use of engineering procurement construction (EPC) mode is currently a trend in hydropower engineering construction. The clarification of the internal relationship between hydropower EPC projects and the realization of synergy has great significance in improving management efficiency and implementation effect. In this work, a three-dimensional system and a system model of hydropower EPC project management synergy are constructed. The mechanism and factors that influence the degree of management synergy are analyzed on the basis of management synergy theory. Furthermore, the evaluation index system and the degree of synergy model are established, and grey relational analysis is utilized to identify the key factors that affect the synergy degree. Thus, this study aims to facilitate the hydropower EPC project management synergy, provide a quantitative method for synergy degree evaluation, and propose corresponding promotion strategies. Results show that the order degree of each subsystem presents a steady upward trend. Specifically, the order degree of the subsystem at the trial operation stage is low, which is the major restriction on the further improvement of the synergy degree of EPC project management. The key factors in improving the synergy level of hydropower EPC project management are mainly concentrated in the information and organization synergy subsystems, including the construction degree of information platform, the performance of functions, the timeliness of information transfer, and the functions of the information platform.

摘要: Dynamic reliability is a very important issue in reliability research. The dynamic reliability analysis for the project is still in search of domestic and international research in the exploration stage. By now, dynamic reliability research mainly concentrates on the reliability assessment; the methods mainly include dynamic fault tree, extension of event sequence diagram and Monte Carlo simulation, and et al. The paper aims to research the dynamic reliability optimization. On the basis of analysis of the four quality influence factors in the construction engineering, a method based on gray correlation degree is employed to calculate the weights of factors affecting construction process quality. Then the weights are added into the reliability improvement feasible index (RIFI). Furthermore, a novel nonlinear programming mathematic optimization model is established. In the Insight software environment, the Adaptive Simulated Annealing (ASA) algorithm is used to get a more accurate construction subsystem optimal reliability under different RIFI conditions. In addition, the relationship between construction quality and construction system reliability is analyzed, the proposed methods and detailed processing can offer a useful reference for improving the construction system quality level.

Optimization of multi machining characteristics in WEDM of WC-5.3%Co composite using integrated approach of Taguchi, GRA and entropy method

摘要:

Wire electrical discharge machining (WEDM) is a well known process for generating intricate and complex geometries in hard metal alloys and metal matrix composites with high precision. In present work, intricate machining of WC-5.3%Co composite on WEDM has been reported. Taguchi’s design of experiment has been utilised to investigate the process parameters for four machining characteristics namely material removal rate, surface roughness, angular error and radial overcut. In order to optimize the four machining characteristics simultaneously, grey relational analysis (GRA) coupled with entropy measurement method has been employed. Through GRA, grey relational grade has been computed as a performance index for predicting the optimal parameters setting for multi machining characteristics. Using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) on grey relational grade, significant parameters affecting the multi-machining characteristics has been determined. Confirmatory results prove the potential of present approach.

Are Relational Contracting Approaches Applicable to Public Projects in China?

摘要: Rising complexities in construction projects management has boosted the importance of relational contracting (RC) in the field. RC is based on recognition of mutual benefits and win-win scenarios gained through more cooperative relationships between contracting parties. There have been a range of RC initiatives across many countries towards deeper collaborative relationships; however, such formal RC approaches are not yet well established in China. In this paper, the feasibility of implementing RC in the China’s public construction projects is investigated. The results indicate that RC is highly feasible for implementation in China due to its theoretical benefits, its alignment to Chinese culture, and its behaviors in past public construction projects. Three strategies for facilitating the implementation of RC in China are proposed.

基于动态多指标灰色关联决策模型的研究

针对动态多指标系统的决策特点,对指标数据初始化处理时,利用“奖优罚劣”原则,提出了一种易于计算且实用的[-1,1]线性变换算子,用此方法寻求各时段的正、负理想方案,建立一种新的基于动态多指标灰色关联分析决策模型,在模型中充分考虑了各指标在系统中的成长特性,将此特性用于灰色关联分析,为动态多目标决策问题提供了一种科学、实用的方法,并利用现有的实例来证实此方法的科学性与可行性。

基于区间数的多指标灰靶决策模型的研究

摘要:

现实生活中遇到的许多问题都具有不确定性,使得在对系统进行决策评估时,指标值难以精确化。在此情形下,人们常常对指标值给出一个区间,到目前为止, 尚未有人研究区间数灰靶决策。首先定义了区间数、m维区间数的距离及其距离性质,并证明了当区间数为实数时,区间数距离就是实数距离的推广;提出了区间数规范化方法,在此基础上, 建立了基于区间数的灰靶决策模型,从而把灰靶决策模型由实数序列拓展到区间数序列,使灰靶决策理论得到发展,同时为扩大灰靶决策的应用领域提供了理论根据。最后以实例验证了该模型的有效性与实用性。

An evaluation model of water-saving reconstruction projects based on resource value flows

摘要: Due to uncertainties in water supply, there is growing demand for water resource management in enterprises. In this study, we evaluated the effects of companies’ water-saving reconstruction projects. We used Hina Advanced Materials Company as a case to construct an investment decision model to (1) calculate the internal and external costs of water resources based on circular economic value analysis theory, and (2) locate the level of water resources circulation. We adopted gray situation decision analysis to identify the typical problems that occur in water resource utilization. Moreover, we demonstrated optimization plans for different potential improvements, thereby providing guidance and references for water resource cost management and the comprehensive optimization of environmental benefits. We concluded that the circulation economic value analysis model can effectively display the flow and amount of value derived from water resource flows, thereby providing guidance and suggestions for optimizing water resource flows.

Optimization of polyurethane-bonded thin overlay mixture designation for airport pavement

摘要: This research explored the application potential of PUM thin-overlay technology on airport rapid maintenance. The rapid curing process of polyurethane binder determines the limited time window for mixing and construction of polyurethane-bonded mixture (PUM), which presents significant difference with hot-mix asphalt (HMA) technology. Therefore, this research investigated and optimized the mix design of PUM for airport thin-overlay technology based on its thermosetting characteristics. First, limestone and basalt were comprehensively compared as an aggregate for PUM. Then, the effects of molding and curing conditions were studied in terms of mixing time, molding method, molding parameters and curing temperature. Statistical analysis was also conducted to evaluate the effects of gradation and particle size on PUM performances based on gray relational analysis (GRA), thus determining the key particle size to control PUM performances. Finally, the internal structural details of PUM were captured by X-ray CT scan test. The results demonstrated that it only took 12 hours to reach 75% of maximum strength at a curing temperature of 50 °C, indicating an efficient curing process and in turn allowing short traffic delay. The internal structural details of PUM presented distribution of tiny pores with few connective voids, guaranteeing waterproof property and high strength.

区间灰数表征与算法改进及其GM(1,1)模型应用研究

摘要:

针对目前区间灰数的表征和运算过程中存在着较为严重的问题,即:运算结果对灰数的灰度进行不必要的放大,造成信息的严重失真,笔者定义了标准区间灰数与第一和第二标准区间灰数的概念,分析了第一和第二标准区间灰数之间的关系,进一步设计了普通区间灰数与标准区间灰数之间的转换规则,提供了标准区间灰数之间的比较与运算法则,较好地解决了区间灰数之间的大小比较与运算问题。最后,将这一研究成果应用于基于区间数的GM (1, 1)模型预测问题,取得了良好的效果。

摘要:

鉴于火灾事故的发生受多种复杂因素的影响,并且具有较大的随机性和波动性的特点,笔者等将灰色模型和马尔可夫模型相结合,建立火灾事故的灰色–马尔可夫模型,利用灰色模型的灰色性和马尔可夫模型的随机性来体现各自的优点,并运用该模型对全国农村火灾事故进行预测。实际应用表明,灰色–马尔可夫模型的预测精度明显高于灰色模型的预测精度,完全能满足预测精度的要求,可以较好地用于火灾事故的预测。
